What is an Opus Plasma?

Does it hurt?
We use a pharmaceutical grade topic numbing agent that will make the procedure very tolerable.
How long will the appointment last?
The procedure itself takes approximately 15 minutes, however, plan for 75 minutes. The numbing medication will need to sit for at least 30 minutes.
How many treatments will I Need?
The number of sessions will vary based on the severity of the area being treated. Typically, a package of 3 sessions is recommended for the best result. Sessions can be spaced 2-4 weeks apart. Many patients are seeing amazing results even after the 1st treatment session.
What will I look like after the treatment?
Immediately after the procedure most patients will be red, similar to a sunburn. The redness can be expected for 2-3 days, gradually improving each day. A small number of patients may experience scabbing in an intensely treated area. Most patients report completely recovered skin texture and appearance within the first few days to a week.
What is the downtime?
Immediately following the treatment, you will notice a healthy pink glow. Your skincare professional will recommend products to aid your skin’s natural healing process. Total healing time depends on the severity of the damaged skin and the depth of the repair process required. On average, patients are pink for two to four days. Some patients heal completely in 24 hours.
When will I see the results?
Most people notice healthier-looking skin immediately, and the natural repair process of the skin continues to progress over the course of several weeks. Dermal collagen remodeling takes place over time, and it will continue to improve for up to six months after your final treatment.
